Narrabundah Football Club
www.nfc.org.au/
Narrabundah is a central suburb in Canberra, the capital city of Australia. The word 'Narrabundah', means 'small bird of prey' in the local Aboriginal dialect. The name 'Narrabundah Soccer Club' first appeared on the local soccer scene in 1976 in the guise of Melrose - Narrabundah. It was formed after a merger between the two teams that represented the regions then-large Spanish migrant community, Woden Iberia SC and Melrose-Lyons SC. The newly formed club catered for both junior and senior players in the local Canberra soccer competitions. The senior team competed in the highest level of competition in Canberra for many seasons with varying levels of success. With the backing of the local Spanish community, Narrabundah flourished on and off the field, drawing large crowds to their home games at Boomanulla Oval, which is just a stones-throw from the Spanish-Australian Club in Narupai place, Narrabundah. The 2010 season saw the club expand again to field 5 senior men's team with the much-welcomed return of an Over 35's (masters) team.

Canberra Friends of the Camino De Santiago
www.canberracamino.webs.com
A web site for the Canberra Friends of the Camino De Santiago. The Canberra Friends of the Camino provides a way for people in the ACT who have travelled the Camino de Santiago or similar pilgrimage route to share their experiences in person with others interested in doing the same. There is truly a wealth of resources on the internet that will help those interested in undertaking the Camino de Santiago, but none of these are quite the same as being able to listen and talk to someone who has risen to the challenge and completed a pilgrimage. Meetings are held at the Spanish Australian Club of Canberra, 5 Narupai St, Narrabundah, approximately every month. Check the calendar for details of the next meeting. Note most of the web site is under construction.
